The resort and the village of Lake Arrowhead are located in the local mountains about 90 miles from downtown Los Angeles. It's close enough to visit throughout the year from most of Southern California. There is water skiing and fishing in the summer and it is close snow skiing areas during the winter. Lake Arrowhead has one of the best Forth of July fireworks shows I ever seen. They shoot the fireworks from the middle of the lake surrounded by people in their boats.
