In the middle of the Island of Oahu there is the Hawaiian Dole Pineapple Plantation. At one time it was the major pineapple producer. It also held the Guinness Book of record for the worlds largest maze. It now is one of the major tourist destinations for Hawaii. This is surrounded by the farming communities for the island with much clay in the soil, turning it red as can be see in this picture.
