The Largest Pod I've Ever Seen
Seeing individual animals from the air is pretty rare for me, since most animals are pretty tiny from up above, but that changes when they congregate together. On my way down to San Diego I saw a huge pod of dolphins off the coast of San Clemente, just north of Camp Pendleton. It was hard to tell what it was at first, but once I zoomed in, I could clearly see the dolphins porpoising (jumping into the air). Incredible to see from the air but it would've been even more amazing to see from the deck of a boat or in the water!!
