Only from the air can you see the gravity of damage that mining can cause. Here is an area, up by the Grapevine, that is surrounded by trees. Not really visible from the ground, but looking down it becomes pretty obvious. The amount of time it must have taken create something like this amazes me. It doesn't look like they are finished with this yet.
