In Northern California on the Mendocino Coast is the small town of Ft. Bragg. It is surrounded by giant redwood trees, rivers and the ocean. Ft. Bragg has been a huge logging and lumber mill town but was a military fort prior to the start of the Civil War. The old railroad used to carry lumber has been converted to a steam train running from the town of Willits to Ft. Bragg. After miles of redwoods trees you end up on this incredible coast..
