Northern California

Posted on August 16, 2009

Yesterday I had some sites to shoot in Central and Northern California. There is a drastic change in topography once you leave Los Angeles. The Central Valley is flat and is the biggest agricultural area in California. Starting just south of Bakersfield and continuing all the way up to Redding, almost 400 miles. What I really enjoy is seeing the rivers that run through parts of this valley. Flowing east from the Sierra Nevada mountains and running through many small cities. Here is a view of one just south of Sacramento.
