In the surfing community, the celebration of a surfer's life takes place in the ocean. The surfers form a circle hold hands, talk, and throw flowers in the water. This took place recently in Malibu, right next to the Malibu pier. It was early morning, an overcast sky with a good swell. A special memorial for a local surfer.
