102nd Rose Bowl Game Flyover

Starting the Rose Bowl Game with a B-2 Flyover

New Year's Day is one of my favorite (and stressful) days of the year. Getting up early, hopping in the plane and going up to try to take photos of the flyovers has become an annual tradition. Even though I've been lucky the past few years, there is no guarantee I am going to get the photo that I want. A number of things could go wrong: the weather could be bad, the B-2 timing could be off, or I could completely miss the B-2 as it flew by (they call it the "Stealth Bomber" for a reason).

I was lucky this year and managed to get a nice photo of the B-2 right in the center of the stadium. What a great way to start off 2016!! Happy New Year!!
